Quarterly Newsletter – 20/20 Vision
Welcome to 2020, we are officially in a new decade, the year of abundance and opportunity!
We trust that you have had a good festive season and enjoyed a much deserved break and time with your loved ones and furry friends.
The start of the year is usually the time that we evaluate our lifestyle choices, goals and start making our new year’s resolutions. Top of mind is lifestyle – improving choices such as mindfulness / meditation, healthy eating, exercise / yoga and sleep – ultimately we are looking to lead a healthier, longer & happier life.
The pressure of daily life is much easier to manage when you take care of yourself ie: stress levels when incorporating a healthy living with a supportive network of family and friends, a good counsellor / psychologist and an indulgent massage treatment / hair-nails-body treatments etc.
With this in mind we are planning our first breakfast sessions for 2020 on 6th March 2020 in Durban and the 3rd April 2020 in Johannesburg and an “Invitation” mailer will follow shortly. Our March breakfast theme in Durban is: “Invisible Disabilities – How to accommodate, deal and empower for an inclusive workplace”.
Our April breakfast theme in Johannesburg is:” Incorporating a healthy lifestyle & how this contributes to good health”. We will share tips on how to best care for yourself and we will focus on 3 specific topics.
The SAE4D as an executive committee met in January to determine and agree our planning for the year. We have some exciting events and activities planned and this is being compiled and will be communicated to you soon.
We would also like to take this opportunity to bid farewell to Dr Jerry Gule who has served as chairman since 2007 and would like to thank him for his positive contribution to the SAE4D. Best wishes for the year ahead and may this be an exceptional year for each of you.
We look forward to connecting with you a lot more.
